FireFox 3 Release Day (Download Day 2008) Did They Reach 8 Million Downloads?
I have been a Firefox user since the first production of the program. Firefox 3 was released yesterday and labeled the day, “Download Day 2008.” Reaching eight million downloads and therefore succeeding in a genus world record for the most downloads in a single day.
“Mozilla’s Firefox 3 release event yesterday was an epic success. The servers logged over 8 million downloads during the 24-hour download day, and Mozilla has declared victory after exceeding its initial goal of 5 million downloads.“

If you have not yet tried Firefox, I highly recommend you give it a try. Unlike Internet Explorer, Firefox is fully customizable; with increased security.
“The first 24 hours are over, but the downloads continue to pour in. At press time, the official counter shows that the current rate is approximately 5,500 downloads per minute, and the total number of downloads is roughly 8.8 million. It’s further confirmation that the Firefox web browser is rapidly becoming mainstream; it has long since ceased being a niche product confined to early adopters and enthusiasts. Firefox has had a profound impact on the web and will likely continue to play a central role in shaping the future of the Internet.“

This is off topic, sorry.
I see you decided to turn this into a blog. May I make one suggestion though. On this site
http://telicthoughts.com/speak-your-mind/
They have threads called, “speak your mind” where anyone can discuss anything they want. This way anyone can discuss anything whether or not it’s topic specific. They seem to just put them up every once in a while. I think this is a good idea for you to do as well. Also, do we have the ability to edit threads while they are still in moderation (assuming they go into moderation for a period of time. Not sure how things work here, this is my first post)?

At telic thoughts we are allowed to edit threads for a period of time but past that period of time, we are no longer allowed. I would have sent you an instant message via AIM but you haven’t been online for a while and I don’t know how else to get this message across. Thanks.
